The Remote Nar Phu Valley Trek takes you to the medieval villages of Nar and Phu in the wild, unexplored northern parts of Manang. The Nar Phu Valley is similar to Tibet in many ways. The snowy peaks in the background are a stark contrast to the rugged landscape. The small Nar Phu community is of Tibetan origin, and due to their proximity to Tibet, their lifestyle and culture is more Tibetan than Nepalese. This ancient civilization with its monasteries, colorful chortens and fortresses are the charm of this hidden Himalayan valley.
