White Water Rafting - 2 Days

Trisuli River Rafting is an excellent choice for short trips or an extra side-trip for those on their way to or from Pokhara or Chitwan National Park. The Trisuli is an excellent river for first-time or experienced rafters; there is a good mixture of fast current with some really exciting rapids which are straightforward, easily negotiated and well spaced out without the challenge of huge rapids.
Trisuli Rafting can be done from 1 to 3 days, 15 - 60 km depending on how much time you have. The put-in point, usually Charaudi, About half way between Kathmandu and Pokhara.  If you do the two day trip, the return journey to Kathmandu is 5 hours, to Pokhara is approximately 4 hours and to Chitwan is approximately 1 hour.

Rafting on the Trisuli River is an excellent opportunity to see impressive gorges with intriguing geological formations, valleys, village  life, and diverse vegetation.

During the monsoon, Trishuli River is running high and wild with powerful rapids and whirlpools. Rafting on the Trishuli River during monsoon is without a doubt the most exciting thing you can do in Nepal and quite possibly one of the best big water rafting trips anywhere.


Day 1 : Kathmandu to Charaudi, the set in point, 85km by road 3 to 4 hrs

Day 2 : Take out point Simaltal and drive back to Kathmandu / Pokhara / Chitwan.
