Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expedition is a Government licensed trekking and expedition company in Nepal. Registered Company Number 52977/064/065. Please note that by booking a trip you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. The following terms and conditions apply to your bookings. We request that you read them carefully.
Booking Your Trip:
To confirm your trip, we require a photo copy of your passport and $ 200 USD per person as a non-refundable advance payment. This is necessary to book flight tickets, hotels and for permit processing.
Advance payments can be made by bank to bank wire transfer, online payment, Western Union, Money Grams, etc. according to your convenience.
The full payment will have to be made upon your arrival in Nepal and before departure for the trip. We appreciate you to pay the due amount in cash, for the Cards we only accept Master Card and Visa card. And 4% extra will be levied to you as credit card processing fee.We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the full payment is not made in time. Package prices are based on twin-sharing basis. Single supplements are available for an additional fee.
Cancellation of a Tour by the Client:
If a client voluntarily or involuntarily terminates/cancels the trip once the trip has started, no refund will be given for missed or unused services of the trip regardless of the reason i.e. sickness, or any other unfortunate events.
In case if any guests wishes to cancel thier trip prior to their departure for any reasons then a written application should be sent by the guests to us, 2 Weeks prior to the Trip starting date. If the cancellation is made beyond the time limit then USD 200 per person will be charged. As per our company policy, deposit amount is non- refundable and can be utilized with the timeframe of one year from the trip confirmation date.
Cancellation of a Tour by the Company:
Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expedition shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances i.e. natural disasters, weather conditions, government restrictions, political unrest, wars, strikes, road blockage, flood, flight cancellation or delay, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurred due to such causes shall be borne by the client on the spot.
If we are compelled to cancel the trip under circumstances beyond our control, like snow, land slide or other unexpected circumstances, we will do our utmost to provide you alternative trip of a comparable nature and value.
Delay of Flight Due to Bad Weather:
Domestic flights to mountain regions can be delayed due to bad weather. In such case, the client will be responsible to bear all additional expenses including food and accommodation.
If the client wishes to make an alternative arrangement such as a helicopter flight to avoid flight delays Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expeditions will assist in making the booking, but will not cover the cost of the alternative arrangement. The refunded money of the unused flight ticket would be credited to the concerned client.
Missed International Flight:
In the event of a missed international flight, or any amendments of the exisitng international flights of guests, Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expeditions would not accept any responsibility for costs incurred, but would assist to make alternative arrangements wherever possible.
We highly recommend the client to schedule one or two extra days if their trip involves mountain flights.
Last Minute Booking:
We understand it is never too late to plan for a holiday. We accept last minute booking. You can book a trip to Nepal up to one week prior to the trip departure dates. For Day Trips or City Tours and short hikes, visit our Kathmandu office when you are in Nepal.
Injuries or Evacuation:
Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expedition is committed to do everything possible to make our client’s journey pleasant and safe. Our guides are selected on the basis of their leadership ability under normal circumstances as well as emergencies. They are certified in First Aid, experienced in altitude related symptoms and management and medical evacuation.
However, Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expedition will not be liable for any injury or health problem experienced by the client during the trip.
Our package cost does not include guests personal insurance. The guests himself/herself must acknowledge the risk implicated in the tour in regard to harm. It is the guests responsibility to ensure their health and physical fitness is adequate prior to booking their trip.
We strongly advise the clients to make sure their insurance package covers medical expenses including injury, illness, emergency evacuation by helicopter, trip cancellation, theft or damage or delay of baggage and repatriation. If by chance the travel insurance of guests doesn't cover these expenses mentioned above, then the guests are liable to settle the expenses occured accordingly. The insurance should cover the full duration of travel in Nepal.
Clients must produce all necessary documents for official documents such as visas and permits. We will not be accountable for any obstruction arising due to incomplete/insufficient documents.
Annapurna Foothills Treks and Expedition arrange all tours in Nepal, India, China and Bhutan in accordance with the rules, regulations and the policies of the respective country.
If a client commits any unlawful act during the trip, we reserve the right to expel you from the group. No refund will be provided in such cases.
