Overview of Spring Season 2025:

A warm gratitude towards our lovely guests for an unforgettable spring trekking and climbing season in Nepal. As we wrap up our season and sit down at our office to reflect on all the incredible adventures, interesting stories, and, of course, a lot of exciting incidents that made our season so memorable. It wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and support of our guides, porters, assistants, drivers, office staff, and our entire support team.

Spring season in Nepal, normally from March to May, is a special time of the year. After the colder months of December, January, and February, the Himalayas kind of glow up during these months. Warmer days, rhododendron blooms, fresh/crisp mountain air, and clearer skies are synonyms for the spring season in Nepal. Though, the pre-monsoon has been kind of active this year. Nevertheless, travelers, tourists, and adventurers, from every corner of the world, have visited the Himalayan land, pursuing their dream mountains, testing their limits, appreciating the nature and culture, and finding peace and solitude.

This spring, we organized and guided trekkers and climbers through the popular Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang regions, and somewhat less visited routes of Manaslu, Pikey, and Tsum. We had mostly successful expeditions to our favorite Mera Peak, Island Peak, and Lobuche East Peaks. Groups who had combined these trekking peaks with the option of Mera and Island Peaks or Island Peak and Lobuche East or the fairly challenging adventure of Mera, Island, and Lobuche Peaks enjoyed great weather conditions and success on the mountains. We also successfully led the expedition to the remote and technical Kyajo Ri.There was an outstanding achievement by our Ama DablamExpedition team to successfully summit the mountain. Similarly, our wonderful trip leader and very dear friend, Dr. Adrian Tan, embarked on and successfully completed the challenging Three High Passes Trek in the Everest Region. Also, raising funds and support for the girls of Gladiolus Place, a non-profit residential home for teenage girls at risk. We are really proud and glad that we could assist him on this epic journey.

Another significant part of our season was the safety and security of our trips with zero major accidents, all thanks to our experienced guides, support staff, and very well-prepared guests.

Looking forward,we will spend the monsoon months recharging, rebuilding, and readying the trails for the Autumn season 2025. We are already planning and prepping for the fall season in Nepal, which begins in September with cooler temperatures, golden paths, forests, and perfect weather conditions for trekking and climbing around the Himalayas of Nepal.

Are you planning your first trip or your tenth trip in Nepal? Now is a good time to start. We are here to tailor and curate a beautiful trip for you and your loved ones. Reach out with your questions; we are happy to help. To every traveler, trekker, climber, mountaineer, guide, porter, cook, driver, and kind stranger on the journey—thank you. You have made our season magical.

Annapurna Foothills Family
